Major Government Project Assessment

BKO Consulting worked in partnership with Methods to provide technical project delivery advice to a major Government project; one of the Prime Ministers top 30 projects.  Forecast to bring over £1.5b gross value added to the UK economy as well as ensuring over 90% of drinks bottles will be reused by 2029 – the deposits return scheme project is part of the UK’s international commitment.

BKO Consulting have:

• Provided a project assessment comparing delivery capability and capacity against national project delivery standards 
• Identified gaps in provision and making recommendations for the project and programme team to make targeted interventions to rapidly improve delivery, governance, and assurance. 
• Defined the scope of the project, gaining senior stakeholder buy-in and establishing a change control process within newly established governance
• Bolstered areas of weakness in the project, created more effective ways of working and transitioned to new permanent staff
